Urgent Care - LVN at Prestige Staffing

A Medical Group in San Antonio is looking to add a LVN to their Urgent Care. Interview will be held ASAP!

Hours: Rotating 12's (3 days on, 4 days off), 1 weekend a month required 

Pay: Based on experience, 
Differential pay - weekdays is 2% on top of hourly 
Weekends is 15% on top of hourly

Job Duties:

• Must be AED and CPR certified 
• Obtains, verifies, and records health history of patients.
• Gathers pertinent health data through physical assessments and biological samples.
• Collects specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Provides basic patient care as ordered. Administers medications and treatments as directed.
• Assists other health care professionals in performing exams, diagnostic procedures and treatments, and minor medical procedures.
• Documents assessments, interventions, patient/family responses, and test results in medical records.
• Provides patient education materials, communicates provider advice/instructions at time of discharge.
• Provides leadership, direction, and support to medical assistants and LVNs on the issues of outpatient care, medications, or scheduling.
• If certified, may start IVs and assist with other patient procedures as requested by providers.
• Works independently, maintains schedule of patients.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
