About the Facilities: Our client operates two closely situated healthcare facilities in Clark, NJ, seeking a skilled Urology Nurse Practitioner to provide specialized urological care
The facilities are just a 3-minute drive apart, though typically, you will not be required to visit both on the same day.
Position Overview: We are searching for a proficient Urology Nurse Practitioner with at least 1-2 years of specialized experience in urology
The role includes handling tasks such as changing and inserting catheters and interpreting ultrasound/Doppler test results
The successful candidate will work 1-2 days per week, providing an excellent opportunity to balance work with other commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive urological care to patients, including catheter changes and insertions.
Interpret ultrasound and Doppler tests to aid in patient diagnoses and treatment plans.
Manage patient care with professionalism and in accordance with current medical practices and procedures.
Collaborate with medical staff at each facility to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patient interactions.
Schedule:
Part-time, 1-2 days per week.
Flexible scheduling, typically assigned to one facility per day.
Qualifications:
At least 1-2 years of experience as a Urology Nurse Practitioner, excluding RN experience.
Valid NP license in the state of New Jersey.
Demonstrated ability to perform clinical procedures related to urological care.
Strong diagnostic skills, including proficiency in interpreting medical imaging.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused approach.
