Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess a range of skills related to veterinary assistance.

Responsibilities

- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures

- Handle and restrain animals during treatments

- Perform basic laboratory procedures such as blood draws and sample collection

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the veterinary clinic

- Provide compassionate care to animals before, during, and after procedures

- Administer medications as directed by veterinarians

- Monitor animal behavior and condition

## Skills

- Knowledge of veterinary terminology

- Experience in animal care and handling

- Familiarity with aseptic techniques for maintaining cleanliness

- Ability to groom pets and provide basic pet care

- Understanding of animal anatomy and physiology

- Proficiency in dog training and handling

- Kennel management skills for animal boarding facilities

- Pet sitting experience is a plus
