POSITION TITLE: VP of Product Management

Responsibilities:
- Collaboratively develop and own the product vision for the company from ideation through full commercialization delivering adequate positive return on investment through EBITDA and market share gains.
- Contribute significantly to and communicate company strategy in a compelling manner internally and externally.
- Evaluate the competitive position of the Company and articulate requirements for product innovations that support long-term growth for the Company based on trends and competitive intelligence.
- Provide internal and external Voice of the Customer (VOC) guidance from ideation through launch.
- Needs discovery, customer problem identification, market and customer segmentation, opportunity sizing, requirements development, business case creation including cost/benefit analysis.
- Lead the cross-enterprise development of product roadmaps, including identification of key technologies and product gaps.
- Lead project teams accountable for new product development projects, milestones and serve as the business and product advisor on designated products.
- Communicate product roadmaps, program plans, solution progress and risks to executive management and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure all products are released and build robust systems to continually monitor market conditions and customer feedback.
- Partner with cross-functional leadership team members to enable successful feature launches and support go-to-market (GTM) campaigns (Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance, HR, IT, Customer Sales & Service).
- Manage and drive reduction of product backlogs with rigorous prioritization on an ongoing basis.
- Develop and manage product management function, process, and budgets.
- Partner with engineering and leads the cross functional team effectively at all levels.
- Motivate team through a variety of strategies to ensure they are engaged and connected to the larger company mission.
- Create a transparent, collaborative, and dynamic team culture, embracing Inovonics core values and serving as a model to the organization.
- Serve as the subject matter expert and provide guidance to the leadership team into customer needs, business strategy, marketplace dynamics and competitors.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years product management experience with integrated solutions comprising hardware, cloud software, APIs and SaaS business models.
- Management: Directly managed a team of product and program managers
- Execution: Led multiple product teams which executed consistently, delivering quality projects of the broadest scope and impact on time. Can excel in the implementation of the agile process and in agile organizations.
- UX: Passionate about creating end to end user experiences including pre/post sale, product implementation, product usage, and on-going customer engagement.
- Technical: Comfortable working with engineering to prioritize broadly and understand technical complexities within product areas. Full understanding of the internet of things, cloud software, APIs and can translate these technologies into business outcomes.
- Analytical: Solid grasp of statistical analysis and multivariate testing. Utilize data to set OKRs, create dashboards to monitor product performance (technical and financial), review analyses from across the company and develop basic models. You can construct a narrative for using data to drive the decision-making process.
- Organizational skills: Able to manage multiple teams with stakeholders across the organization. Experience working closely with business & marketing partners.
- Communication: Strong writing and verbal communication skills. Enjoy working with complex concepts then simplifying for all. Able to work cross functionally with stakeholders and can manage competing needs to drive alignment and resolution.
- Diplomatic: Can work with different personalities, and navigate tough conversations

- Proficiency with project management tools (JIRA preferred).
- Background in the industries served by Inovonics.
- Experience with Agile Product Management and Development Processes.
