Tipped position! The power is in your hands to make money. Your base salary will be $10.00/hour with the opportunity to make additional income through great customer service. You will average, with great customer service, in cash tips around $15 - $20/hr.
You will be the first Hilton Ambassador (a.k.a. Team Member) a guest will see at the start of their stay, and their last as they depart on their journey. With your smile, warm hello, and fond farewell, you will ensure that each guest feels “Cared for, Valued, and Respected” while ensuring all guests’ needs and issues are resolved in a way that exceeds their expectations.

POSITION PURPOSE:
To ensure that each guest feels "Cared for, Valued, and Respected."
To ensure that all guests are greeted with a warm hello and a fond farewell
To ensure that any guest issue is resolved in a way that exceeds their expectations
EXAMPLES OF VALET AMBASSADOR DUTIES:
- Engage positively with our internal & external guests
- Assist guests with the opening/closing of doors
- Acknowledge and greet guests quickly, while also providing fast and friendly service
- Effectively communicate parking procedures to all guests
- Safely and securely drive and park guest vehicles, while adhering to all CleanStay Hilton brand protocols
- Verify payment has been processed for each vehicle retrieved
- Transporting guests to and from the airport using company-owned shuttles
- Provide guests with direction to and information on local points of interest
- Offer guests information on property facilities and amenities
- Maintain the security of vehicles (including items left within) and all keys
Other:
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Hilton from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Hilton rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of hotel facilities. Employees who violate Hotel rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS:
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the hotel.
• Regular sanitation of workspace and materials, in adherence with the CleanStay brand standard
• Assist guests with transporting any luggage and/or personal belongings to and from their guest rooms.
- Deliver amenities to guest rooms/public space as required
• Use the photocopier to make copies of items as required.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor such as assisting at the Front Desk, Valet, Bell stand, Restaurant Host station, etc.
HOURS
Available to work a flexible schedule.
Qualifications
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
• Smile all of the time
• Ability to effectively engage with internal and external guests, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the hotel and continuously perform essential job functions.
• Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities. High school diploma preferred.
Experience:
No prior experience required. Prior hospitality experience preferred.
Licenses or certificates:
Valid driver's license, with a clean driving record
Grooming:
All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available).
