Cox Automotive is searching for a talented Vehicle Programs Specialist in Atlanta, GA! The Vehicle Programs Specialist will focus on managing the asset life cycle and working with stakeholders throughout the organization to meet operational and financial needs. This role will work with leadership to help determine the optimal life cycle of assets while focusing on core asset management processes such as procurement, remarketing, vendor management, deployment and asset logistics. The position will be supporting all divisions under the Cox umbrella of businesses and will require a consultative approach, excellent customer service and strong vendor management.

This is a 3-month W2 contract assignment with the opportunity for contract extension or to transition to a permanent, full-time role based on performance and business needs.
Responsibilities:Responsibilities of the Vehicle Programs Specialist:
- Manage asset related processes such as remarketing, aftermarket equipment installation and/or other asset logistic requirements
- Work with vendors, customers, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and maintenance facilities to ensure assets are delivered on time, specifications are accurate and policies are upheld
- Mange vendor performance based on timelines, quality, value and innovation
- Consult with stakeholders to provide reporting to maximize visibility to asset status and financial impact
- Maintain knowledge of device updates and train users on new and existing features
- Ensure billing accuracy and timely processing of payment
- Update asset status and all relevant asset details in Cox asset database in a timely manner
- Help build and create automations within Cox systems with vendors and OEMs
Qualifications of the Vehicle Programs Specialist:
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- A minimum of 3+ years of asset, client or account experience; Fleet, procurement, or asset management experience is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with peers, business partners, and leadership
- Ability to interact with internal and external business partners supporting corporate policy, standards, processes and procedures
- Proficient in understanding, analysis, and management of vehicle information to provide recommendations
- Ability to demonstrate a consultative approach to customer needs, run reports and interpretate data to draw conclusions
- Strong proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office programs; strong MS Excel proficiency required
- Self-motivated, able to manage expectations, prioritize work to meet deadlines, and work under pressure in a fast paced, high energy environment
- Strong customer service and organization skills required
- Works well in a team environment by supporting departmental initiatives and goals
- Provide excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to perform repetitive data entry tasks, manual dexterity
