Veterinary Medical Director - MBC Talent Connections

As the Veterinary Medical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the medical operations of our veterinary practice. You will work closely with our team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure the highest level of care for our patients. This is a leadership role that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage a team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all medical operations of the practice, including patient care, surgery, and diagnostics

- Provide guidance and support to the veterinary team, including veterinarians, technicians, and support staff

- Develop and implement medical protocols and procedures to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients

- Monitor and maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment

- Review and approve treatment plans and medical records

- Collaborate with the practice manager to ensure efficient and effective operations

- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development for the veterinary team

Qualifications:

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university

- Current veterinary license in the state of practice

- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

- Excellent clinical and surgical skills

- Strong leadership and management abilities

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
