As an RVT, you know what a professional veterinary technician looks like, but so we can all be on the same page, successful candidates will be proficient in:
Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
Knowledge of veterinary pharmacology and drug calculations
Emergency and surgical care - including all aspects of perioperative care
Diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy and sample collection, and in-house lab work
Venipuncture for phlebotomy and IV catheter placement
Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff.
Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions.
