We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Data Management Manager I to join our Corporate Engineering, CAO Engineering team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL – HYBRID.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead a small data modeling/warehousing team responsible for designing and creating more complex logical/physical data models, and data dictionaries that cater to the specific business and functional requirements of applications.
- Participate in the analysis and design of data models and logical databases at the data element level consistent with the corporate architectural models. Develops logical data designs of increasing complexity to deliver stable and flexible high performance data solutions.
- Perform data extracts and creates complex data reports to analyze user metrics.
- Identify and analyze corporate-wide information flows and interfaces between business processes to develop logical database designs, detailed data models and relational database designs.
- Maintain standards for defining, naming, and creating data elements.
- Consult with database administration and client areas in resolving questions during the translation to a physical database design.
- Train staff in technical tools and skills, as well as specific applications and their business functions to maximize their contribution to the team.
- Manage a small data modeling/warehousing team, contributes to the achievement of team objectives.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in data modeling, data warehousing, data mining, data entity analysis, logical and relational database design, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
