What We Need
We are seeking a Vice President, Information Technology (VP, IT) to report to the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. This role involves providing strategy, leadership, and execution for IT and Security, including Network, Infrastructure, Help Desk, Azure, Integrations, Security Compliance & Engineering, MES, Salesforce, Oracle, and BI.
The VP, IT will align IT strategies with corporate goals, driving major initiatives across all product offerings and geographies. This role will lead a combined onsite and remote team of approximately 10 associates and vendor partners. The ideal candidate will have strengths in vision/strategy, tactical execution, communication/presentation, and gaining support for major change initiatives. They will possess sound business and technology judgment while consistently delivering cost savings, efficiency improvements, cycle-time reductions, and profitability enhancements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Business Analysis: Partner with leadership to develop and implement IT plans that align with business goals, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Enterprise Applications: Oversee business software/systems platforms, ensuring integration aligns with best practices and core business processes.
- BI: Create and enhance an Enterprise Data Platform, including customer, inventory, and financial analytics, modeling, and reporting tools.
- Network & Infrastructure: Manage the full lifecycle of desktop applications, devices, servers, Cloud platforms, and IT network infrastructure, ensuring service availability and reliability.
- Security: Lead the Security function, ensuring compliance with NIST, CMMC, and other standards. Align security best practices across Product, Engineering, and Service Delivery.
- Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong business relationships with vendors and industry partners.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current on IT trends and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance technological capabilities.
Skills and Experience
- 15+ years of progressive IT management and operations experience, with business operations expertise and the ability to drive change at an executive level.
- Experience in telecommunications and manufacturing industries, with demonstrated business management skills, including roadmaps, planning, and budgeting.
- Preferred experience in government-regulated security environments requiring CMMC compliance.
- Proven track record in recruiting and mentoring diverse staff, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong program management skills, with experience in building and managing high-performance teams and supporting the deployment of new products and capabilities.
- Positive, high-energy executive with the ability to collaborate with and gain the confidence of senior management and internal customers.
- Excellent communication skills, including active listening and the ability to present complex ideas in concise, easily understood formats for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience and business skill set will be considered.
Compensation
Kymeta is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. In the spirit of pay transparency, we have determined the salary range for this position to be $190,000 - $250,000. This is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would be atypical, in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. Compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and geography. The total compensation package for this position includes an annual target bonus of 25%, stock options, and benefits listed below. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer.
