They seek a Vice President to lead their operations in the Tampa, Florida region
This key leadership role plays a crucial role in driving strategic growth as they are expanding geographically in the area, exceeding client expectations, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.Responsibilities:Lead and manage all aspects of Tampa operations, including project acquisition, execution, budgeting, staffing, and client relationships.Develop and implement a strategic regional growth plan, identifying and pursuing new market opportunities aligned with group’s overall corporate objectives.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners throughout the Tampa Bay/Florida area.Oversee all project delivery within the region, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and adherence to the highest quality and safety standards.Recruit, develop, and motivate a high-performing team of professionals, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies, identifying and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance a competitive advantage in the region.Represent the organization in the Tampa community, actively participating in professional organizations and industry events.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred.Proven track record of success in a senior leadership role within the heavy civil and infrastructure markets, including highways, bridges, rail and transit.Demonstrated experience in strategic business development, client relationship management, and project execution.Strong financial acumen and understanding of construction budgeting and cost control.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve ambitious goals.Commitment to safety, quality, and ethical business practices.Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus, but not essential.Benefits:This opportunity offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including stock ownership, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and more
