Vice President of Engineering –

Charlotte, North Carolina Office

Compensation: $135 to 175K based on experience.

A full-service engineering and construction firm has an immediate opening for a Vice President and Office Manager in its Charlotte, NC office. Preferred candidate must be registered as a professional engineer in North Carolina, have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related field, and at least fifteen years of experience in marketing, managing, and designing water resources, transportation, and/or other engineering projects. Candidates must be well-versed with the engineering market in North Carolina and must have strong leadership and communication skills.

Role and Responsibilities:

· Defining the vision for the office.

· Determining the personnel and other resources needed.

· Hiring the best talent.

· Lead and manage office employees providing guidance and support.

· Identifying target clients and projects throughout North Carolina.

· Advancing clients’ relationships and leading proposal preparation.

· Ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

· Maintaining profitability of the office.

· Representing the company's best interests.

Qualifications

Must Haves Qualifications:

PE in NC

Civil engineer or environmental engineer 15 years

Business responsibility

Client Relationship

Business Development.

Civil 3D experience
