Vice President of Sales - Consulting
Founded in the mid 1960's our client is a national engineering firm that provides consulting services to the civil and structural engineering, as well as geospatial industries. Our client provides consulting services for safety and environmental services. Their diverse expertise, client base and geographies have enabled our client to serve clients globally. This company provides consulting services not a product.
This role will be primarily remote and will need to travel up to 50% of the time.
The VP of Sales will work with clients to develop safety products and programs particularly focused on Fall and Safety Protection on new construction projects.
The VP of Sales will be responsible for overseeing a team of 5-6 sales professionals with the plan to grow to 10 people in the near future – the sales team is located across the US. This role will have a focus on growing out their their largest practice, fall and safety protection consulting, which is almost half of their revenue.
This person will be a manager/ team builder, rather than an individual contributor. If the VP of Sales desires, they can sell but managing the pipeline and clients is the focus.

Experience:
- 10+ years of sales, with a focus on managing.
- Prior sales and management experience required.
- Industry experience, Engineering and/or Construction consulting
- A sales professional with an engineering background is highly preferred.
- Compensation $175.0K base salary plus significant bonus potential based on performance.
