Position Overview
The Visual Merchandising Coordinator is the Residential Marketing program administrator. The position will manage the budget and create both weekly and monthly marketing reports. The Visual Merchandising Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day management of inbound order processing, customer support, product and sample ordering. The position is an ambassador for Quaker, communicating with both internal Sales Representatives and external customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound display and sample orders through the internal Marketing Co-Op Inbox from multiple groups within sales and marketing areas
- Coordinate marketing tool orders through 3rd party e-commerce site - Storefront Moderator, for literature, samples, imagery, product narrative and costing
- Work with senior sales management to qualify, approve and schedule all inbound requests
- Allocate budgeted funds across marketing projects. Manage all transactions and costs within the Co-Op Register
- Coordinate the ordering of all display and sample products within Quaker's Q1 system and work with Marketing's Project Manager to communicate completion dates to the Marketing Manager
- Work with outside vendors on the purchase of raw materials and finished components in support of display and sample orders, expedite order processing when necessary
- Build relationships with outside vendors to support the purchasing and delivery of raw materials and display/sample components
- Set up and manage Merchandising Project Folders inside Microsoft Teams
- Compile weekly and monthly transaction and budget reports
- Prompt and regular attendance at an assigned work location.
- Interact and communicate with employees and customers in an appropriate manner.
- Availability on site to confer with staff members with whom the employee must interact on a regular basis.
- Communicate via email, prepare reports and schedule projects.
- Review and analyze data and information concerning budgeted project status.
- Complete assigned tasks/projects in a timely manner.
Supervisory Responsibility
No direct management or supervisory responsibilities.
Safety
Observe safety and security policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment); report potentially unsafe conditions; and use equipment and materials properly.
Travel
Approximately 10% travel in continental U.S. required for project-based meetings with customers, trade shows or visiting vendors.
Qualifications
An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Software: Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams & PowerPoint
- Familiar with Quaker's proprietary software Q1 and Green Screen
- Knowledge of Quaker Residential and Luxury Products, and Accessories
- Basic Building Industry Knowledge
Preferred Education and Experience
The expectation is that the individual has achieved a minimum level of education and/or related expertise to qualify for this position.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relative field of study
- Accounting or Analytic background preferable

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Work Environment
Although the employee will primarily be in an office setting, while performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to visit the factory and be exposed to climactic variations, various levels of vibration, and moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the office is usually low, but hearing protection may be advisable or required for prolonged visits to certain parts of the factory.
