Warehouse Manager - ASG Renaissance

Position Overview:

The Warehouse Manager oversees the efficient operation of three warehouses, ensuring seamless coordination and optimization of inventory management processes. The Warehouse Manager plays a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and efficiency within the warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Warehouse Operations Management:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of three warehouses, including inbound and outbound logistics, inventory control, and distribution activities.
• Develop and implement efficient warehouse procedures and workflows to optimize space utilization, inventory accuracy, and material handling processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe and secure working environment.

2. Inventory Management:

• Implement best practices for inventory management, including cycle counting, ABC analysis, and stock rotation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast inventory requirements and ensure adequate stock levels to support production schedules.
• Utilize ERP systems and planning tools to track inventory movement, monitor stock levels, and generate accurate reports.

3. Quality Assurance:

• Establish quality control measures for incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer requirements.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to identify and address any discrepancies or non-conformities in inventory and warehouse processes.

4. Team Leadership:

• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of Materials and Handling Logistics Supervisors, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, set performance goals, and provide coaching and training as needed to develop a high-performing warehouse team.

5. Continuous Improvement:

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline warehouse operations, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and innovation to improve overall warehouse performance and customer satisfaction.
• Qualifications:
• Required: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field. Master’s preferred.
• Proven experience in warehouse management in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment and managing global logistics operations is advantageous.
