About the Job
Primary Purpose:
Manages the central district warehouse as a support hub for campus and department receiving and distribution.
Education / Certification:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- CDL or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of your first date of employment.
- College Hours preferred.
Special Knowledge / Skills:
- Experience and proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access).
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with campus, department, peers and vendors.
- Ability to prioritize workload effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure and in situations with time sensitive schedules and deadlines.
Experience / Other Requirements:
- Three years of experience in warehouse operations.
- One year experience with Skyward or similar ERP and/or archival software is preferred.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Communicates clear guidance and expectations to warehouse staff to ensure the most efficient use for time management and operations.
- Communicates with campuses and departments on all warehouse schedules for deliveries and other requests.
- Responsible for warehouse safety and maintaining MSDS on chemicals.
- Conducts weekly meeting to touch base with warehouse staff.
- Oversees the hiring, training, and evaluation of warehouse staff members.
- Delivers goods and supplies to campuses during staff shortages or as needed.
- Responsible for warehouse budget and expenditures.
- Assigns and coordinates pick up of books, equipment, and shred requests district wide.
- Coordinates all campus and department deliveries for timely distribution. Delegates daily assignment to warehouse staff for increased efficiency.
- Maintains accurate inventory records of purchased supplies including custodial supplies.
- Review weekly inventory to verify which products are on hand and which need to be replenished.
- Transfers items as needed or requested between schools and maintain records of the transfers in Eduphoria.
- Rotates all products based on first in – first out method and alike products organized together for efficient distribution.
- Maintains warehouse records, adhering to all policies set forth by the State of Texas.
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervises and evaluates Warehouse Staff.

- Ability to use a forklift, pallet jack, and lift gate.

- Ability to work in extreme temperatures year-round.
- Ability to drive long distances, use required equipment and maintain district assets.
