Provide leadership and accountability for the inbound, put-away, order picking and shipping value streams to satisfy our customer and business needs. Other key responsibilities include identification, evaluation, and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain as well as formulation of recommendations on inbound business processes and overall CDC operation strategies.

Principal Responsibilities

• Ensures safety is a number one consideration on the CDC floor.
• Engages associates, develops talent, and creates collaborative relationships within the department.
• Effectively manages inbound shipments, unloading, receiving, & put away processes.
• Implements/enforces work instructions for receiving, put away, replenishment, etc.
• Interfaces with BU planners on inventory requirements and concerns.
• Interfaces with transportation providers on scheduling, requirements, and concerns.
• Administration and management of record keeping and control processes.
• Adherence & compliance with Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) receipt & inventory rules &/or processes outlined by the Federal Government, Bosch, & the CDC.
• Effectively manages order fulfillment (parcel and LTL), outbound shipments, loading, etc.
• Ensure timely shipment of all customer products to meet each customer’s requirements.
• Implements/enforces work instructions for packaging, labeling, kitting, and shipping.
• Identify and pursue transportation efficiency & quality improvement opportunities.
• Identify, establish, and monitor the KPI’s.
• Timely coaching of performance.
• Collaborate with VSL-Training to assist in the development initial and remedial training.
• Identify and develop continuous improvement plans (CIP) for their value-stream and collaborates with peers on joint plans.

• Bachelors in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Management preferred. Will consider equivalent, relevant work experience in lieu of college degree. 
• 5+ year's business experience in Supply Chain or Logistics environment.
• Direct experience leading a major project or team. 
• Broad experience in supply chain (planning, manufacturing, order management, physical logistics operations).
• Must have a high attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Must know how to run very tight processes. 
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment with constant interruptions and changes to delivery schedules.
• Has a thorough understanding of warehouse forklift best practices.
• Good working knowledge of SAP systems.
• Excellent leadership skills. 
• Ability to develop and manage internal/external relationships.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement to achieve excellence.
• Excellent problem solving and quality decision making skills.
• Ability to effectively influence change.
• Deals well with ambiguity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified equipment trainer.

Compensation Information:

This position is an hourly position and the U.S. annual base salary range for this full-time position is $73,000  to $103,600 . Within this range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to work experience, applicable education, job knowledge, role complexity, job geographic location, etc.  This position is not bonus eligible.
