Job Summary:
The Warehouse Specialist completes various organizational and planning tasks to set up, sustain, and maintain high performance of the warehouse’s logistics support to all field crews.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare shipments from the warehouse to the project job site.
- Deliver products to job sites as directed and as needed.
- Coordinate, prepare, and layout equipment and commodities on-site.
- Develop and prepare job kit loadouts.
- Assist in inventory control and notify the Warehouse Manager when inventory gets low.
- Coordinate with the Warehouse Manager and Purchasing Team on the status of warehouse inventories and commodity buyouts.
- Review supplier deliveries and check packing lists. Report shortages to the Purchasing Team
- Assist and coordinate with the Site Lead regarding onsite inventories and consumable resupply.
- Maintain license for all material handling equipment and safety training.
- Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Organization skills
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Active valid state Driver's License
- Ability to pass and maintain material handling equipment licenses
- One year of warehouse experience
- Background in construction and supply operations is helpful
- Knowledge of heating systems is beneficial
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive, etc).
