Warranty Technician at DRB Group

This is an entry level field position that will be assisting the Warranty and Production team with warranty assistance on single and multi-family residential construction job sites.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide manager with warranty site assistance as assigned
• Attend and participate in training classes designed to develop and foster career development
• May be asked to prepare homes for complete inspections 
• May be responsible for job site cleanliness
• Assist with site administration (i.e.take calls, handle onsite visits with customers, system updates etc.) 
• Perform light duty punch work as needed (i.e. drywall touch ups, paint touch ups, caulking, cleaning, etc.)
• Assist management with enforcing safety on the jobsite
• Must have valid driver’s license for travel between communities or for supply pickups at vendor’s or hardware stores
• Other duties as apparent or assigned

Education and Work Experience

• 1-2 years’ experience in the construction industry or with a trade
• High School graduate or GED equivalent
• Prior experience with entry level construction work and working knowledge of small tools is preferred
