Location- San Diego, CA (5 days onsite) Onsite role/No Remote
Duration- Contract to Hire/Fulltime
Job Description:
We need an automation engineer/lab technician to help setup & maintain test fixtures in our San Diego, CA lab. Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that daily tests are running correctly, debugging issues when they arise and running experiments as defined by engineers. There are also opportunities to help in development and maintenance of the results dashboard and testing infrastructure as needs arise.
Skills
Must-haves for Automation Engineer
Experience with active Python automation development
Experience in testing HW
Adjust to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Ability to learn new technologies fast
Excellent debugging skills
Excellent communication for cross location teams
Preferred for Automation Engineer
Experience working independently
Experience working in QE automation
Success Criteria/Definition of Done
All daily runs have data provided and uploaded to the dashboard in a timely manner.
All experiments in the queue are performed in a timely manner.
All lab management tasks are performed in a timely manner.
Communication with the team is clear, effective and timely.
