**Job Summary

**

The Water Spider/Floater is responsible for ensuring a smooth flow of materials and supplies to the production line. This role is essential for maintaining efficiency and minimizing downtime by promptly delivering necessary items to workstations.

**Key Responsibilities

**

• **Material Handling:

  ** Transport materials and supplies to and from the production line, ensuring all workstations have what they need to operate smoothly.

• **Inventory Monitoring:

  ** Keep track of inventory levels and report any shortages to the team.

• **Coordination:

  ** Work closely with production staff to understand their material needs and adjust deliveries accordingly.

• **Safety Compliance:

  ** Follow safety protocols while handling materials to maintain a safe work environment.

• **Support Production:

  ** Assist with additional tasks, such as cycle counts and other inventory-related duties, as needed.

**Qualifications

**

• **Education:

  ** High school diploma or equivalent.

• **Experience:

  ** 1-3 years in a manufacturing or warehouse environment as a Water Spider, Floater, or Material Handler.

• **Physical Requirements:

  ** Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• **Skills:

  ** Strong organizational and communication skills, with basic math skills for inventory tracking.

• **Safety Awareness:

  ** Knowledge of workplace safety practices.

• **Technical Proficiency:

  ** Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems are a plus.
