Water Treatment Operations Supervisor - Project Partners

 The Operations Supervisor selected for this opportunity will gain key public sector experience in water treatment that can effectively position you to pursue and obtain key, sought-after public sector jobs. We are looking for a Water Operator that has 10+ years of experience in water treatment operations to work on-site and part-time (approximately 24 hours per week) in the Oxnard area. 

As a Water Treatment Operations Supervisor, your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee and maintain the operation of surface and groundwater treatment plants, ensuring systems function optimally and safely.
• Plan, organize, and assign tasks to plant operators, reviewing their work for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
• Ensure that all operations comply with federal, state, and local water quality regulations, including monitoring and reporting on water quality to appropriate agencies.
• Provide hands-on support for treatment operations, including troubleshooting and solving operational issues as needed.
• Mentor and provide guidance to plant operators, fostering professional growth and development, and ensuring proper procedures are followed.

As a Water Treatment Operations Supervisor, you will have:

• Possession of a valid T4 certificate as a Water Treatment Operator is required, T5 certificate is desired
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in water treatment operations
• Current or previous supervisory experience
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. (i.e., without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship in the U.S.)
• Valid CA Driver’s License and proof of insurance

As a Water Treatment Operations Supervisor, you will have:

• Possession of a valid T4 certificate as a Water Treatment Operator is required, T5 certificate is desired
