We are currently partnering with a leading manufacturing facility that has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer. This sweet role won’t be around long so reach out soon if you are interested.
As the Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the oversight of all safety policies, practices and programs related to the operation, upkeep, and upgrades to the machines to ensure all equipment at the facility is operating at optimal efficiency and safety.
You should be seen as Supporting and implementing companywide programs at the facility level. We need to break the stigma around Safety by Partnering with facility and corporate management. Promoting a culture of a safe work environment!
Selected Criteria for the job:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, manufacturing or industrial engineering.
Develop and implement a preventative maintenance for all food handling equipment
Diagnose and correct any mechanical reasons for system failures in a quick manner to reduce downtime.
Seek ways to improve efficiency, through upgrades and modifications to the equipment as well as documentation of the process and full staff training.
Be available for emergency situations or potential weekend duties
Manage all Vendor Relationships and Documentation
Maintain a spare parts inventory, validating its data daily to account for loss.
Work with cross-functional team members to ensure the most robust list of ideas and needed changes and so that they can report back to their teams as well.
Utilize Lean Manufacturing Models to ensure efficiency is continually being increased.
Design and oversea the fabrication of custom equipment or pieces.
