Wealth Management Service Advisor Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
- Pay Rate: $90,000/year plus quarterly bonuses and benefits package
The Wealth Management Service Advisor is a full-time position reporting to the Lead Wealth Planner and Managing Director. The ideal candidate recognizes the unique opportunity offered here to learn from and grow with a well-established wealth advisory team serving the retiree, high net worth ("HNW") and affluent markets. This position involves client interaction, requiring a professional demeanor and appearance, and the ability to cultivate relationships and garner trust. This position has daily interaction with the client services team providing practical guidance.
- Specialist will be well-versed in eMoney software, providing hands-on assistance to clients with onboarding to the software, via phone or in person
- Ensure that all data in eMoney is accurate, including asset allocation, and new accounts/transitions are incorporated in tandem with Albridge (data aggregation and performance reporting tool)
- Contribute to the development of comprehensive financial plans by interpretation of information from client meetings, financial and other statements. Debrief with Lead Advisor and periodically attend client meetings
- Be the resident expert in planning techniques and assumptions. Update software annually with capital market assumptions; create models in eMoney; review quarterly or as needed
- Assist lead advisor with evaluation of current portfolios, new portfolio construction and proposal development.
- Be the resident expert in portfolio holdings, popular stocks, alternatives, third party offerings; stay abreast of market trends
- FINRA SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 is required
- A BA degree is required, preferably in finance, financial planning, accounting, or business; Graduate degree from business school would be a plus
- Strong math, accounting, analytical, research and technical skills are mandatory
- 5 years prior experience in investments/financial Planning, in a similar role is necessary
- Experience with the financial planning software eMoney, as well as Redtail (CRM), Wealthscape, Albridge, Microsoft Office suite, including Teams, (or similar financial, portal and CRM software.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail is a must.
