General Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader to oversee a team of financial/wealth advisor(s) and client service representative(s). The Team Leader will be responsible for managing premier client relationships, consulting on complex cases, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial advisory, exceptional leadership skills, superior communication skills, and the ability to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Team Management: Lead and supervise a wealth management team including financial/wealth advisor(s) and client service representative(s). Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure team cohesion and performance excellence.
- Client Relationship Management: Manage premier client relationships, handling complex cases and consulting with advisors and home office professionals to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.
- Business Development and Community Engagement: Lead in building and maintaining relationships with key influencers in the market.
- Goal Setting and Alignment: Establish team goals aligned with organizational objectives, monitor progress, and ensure achievement through effective performance management. Build and maintain a close working relationship with BMSS Advisors & CPAs and other CPAs as referral sources.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs, provide ongoing coaching, and support professional development opportunities for team members.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient operations within the team, optimizing processes and workflows to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.

Job Specifications
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the financial advisory business, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Proven track record in managing client relationships and leading teams in a financial services environment dealing with high-net-worth families and business owners
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
- Strong strategic planning and execution abilities
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree
Required Licenses and/or Designations
CFP® or other wealth industry professional designation
Series 65
Preferred Experience, Education, and Training
- MBA preferred
- Additional wealth industry designation(s) preferred
