Join us as a Weatherization Representative for the Community Action Lehigh Valley! In this exciting role, you'll help families save money and energy by connecting them to resources to improve their homes' efficiency.

YOUR IMPACT AS OUR: Weatherization Representative

As a Weatherization Representative at the Community Action Lehigh Valley, you'll be instrumental in shaping the future of energy efficiency for our local community! This role involves determining the eligibility and priority of applicants for the PA Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) and energy assistance programs. You'll be the friendly guide who advises applicants on their status, enrolls them, and prepares essential documentation.

Plus, you'll coordinate audits and inspections for various weatherization programs, keeping everything running smoothly. Your organizational skills will shine as you maintain the WAP database, oversee program file systems, and prepare insightful reports. You'll also process contractor and utility invoices while resolving any challenges that arise with customers, contractors, and utilities.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

To thrive as a Weatherization Representative at the Community Action Committee of Lehigh Valley, you'll need a blend of skills, experiences along with a positive attitude. A high school diploma or equivalent is essential, but what really sets you apart is your strong background in program administration. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows systems and database management-including data entry, analysis, and maintaining accurate records-is a must!

Bring your problem-solving prowess and innovative spirit to recommend enhancements to weatherization program databases. Your communication skills will be vital, both verbally and in writing, as you'll liaise with customers, contractors, and utilities to resolve work issues effectively. Being bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus!

Additionally, you should possess a solid understanding and/or willingness to learn about residential energy consumption and be adept at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
