Weekend & After-Hours Team Lead - Solid Waste - Rutherford County Government

Annual Salary Range: $49,191 - $52,791

The purpose of this classification is to lead a team of workers while performing collection and disposal activities within the assigned department of the County. Duties and responsibilities include operating/driving heavy equipment and large trucks/vehicles, supervising work of assigned staff, coordinating training of newly hired driving staff, maintaining safety and inspection records, dispatching collection staff on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, coordination of routine maintenance for collection and disposal equipment with fleet mechanic, point of contact for events occurring on Saturday and Sunday that require decisions to be made concerning fleet status, non-life threatening emergencies, and any other incident that requires direct leadership during operational hours outside of the standard Monday-Friday administrative schedule.
