About the Role:

As an RN Supervisor with Venza Care at Delaware Bay Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, you will lead and oversee nursing care for your assigned department or shift. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that patient care meets the highest standards. This position provides the opportunity to mentor and guide nursing staff while playing a critical role in patient care coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the nursing staff within a specific department or shift
2. Ensure adherence to all facility policies and procedures, promoting compliance with federal and state regulations
3. Supervise, guide, and mentor nursing staff, providing leadership and fostering teamwork
4. Coordinate patient care by collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to meet patients’ needs
5. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patients’ responses and adjusting care plans as needed
6. Lead communication efforts with patients, families, and healthcare providers regarding patient care and treatment progress
7. Evaluate nursing performance and provide constructive feedback and development opportunities
8. Participate in care planning and quality improvement initiatives to continuously enhance patient outcomes
9. Ensure proper documentation of patient care and update patient records as required
10. Handle emergencies and provide direct patient care as needed

Qualifications:

1. Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Delaware
2. Proven experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role preferred
3. Strong clinical skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
5. A collaborative mindset with strong leadership skills to inspire and guide a team
6. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and sometimes high-stress environment
7. Solid understanding of regulatory standards in healthcare and nursing best practices
