Position Overview: RTH is seeking a dedicated Welcome Desk Coordinator to oversee our front desk operations and uphold our commitment to exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused, with a passion for fostering a welcoming environment for all. Reporting to the Member Services Director, the Welcome Desk Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth administrative processes and maintaining a positive atmosphere for residents, program participants, staff, and visitors. This is a second shift role, working on-site.
Responsibilities:
Administrative:
- Maintain adherence to RTH program standards and safety protocols.
- Lead by example in delivering superior customer service and professionalism.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and timely response to inquiries via phone, email, and fax.
- Manage Welcome Desk coverage in collaboration with the Member Services Director.
- Monitor and replenish office supplies as needed.
- Assist with administrative tasks and provide support to team members as required.
- Foster a positive and safe work environment for all staff and volunteers.
Program Support:
- Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate personnel.
- Welcome and assist guests visiting the community center.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Facilitate registration and enrollment processes using the Twin Oaks system.

- Demonstrate a genuine passion for serving individuals of all ages and abilities.
- Flexibility to accommodate varying work schedules and occasional tour requests.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Professional demeanor with a minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in basic office software and equipment (scanners, copiers, printers).
- Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required.
Other Skills and Abilities:
- Strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
- Working knowledge of RTH policies and operational procedures.
- Willingness to occasionally provide tours of the RTH community center.
