Position Title: Welder
 
Wage: $17.00/Hour

Shift: 1st Shift 
 
Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Monday - Friday)
 
Looking for a first shift opportunity doing general production / assembly type of work? QPS has an opening for a client company located in Clear Lake, IA. This is well known company that manufactures metal products for different retail based companies! They offer a great work environment that is more of a laid back setting with minimal people. Welder Responsibilities:
- Weld components in various positions  
- Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to welding, using straight edges, squares, clamps and fixtures
- Receive instructions, blueprints, and work orders for the job
- Examine work to check for defects          
- Record materials used and time spent on job
- MIG and TIG weld pieces to form product being manufactured    
- Grind down welds as needed

Requirements For Welder:
- Candidates *MUST HAVE* a proven track record of several years of solid work history. Please include details of your work experience on your resume
 -Repetitive lifting up to 50lbs Could lift occasionally 70lbs
- Prolonged standing for 8hr - 10hr shifts
- Repetitive bending, reaching and lifting
- Able to perform physical labor for extended periods of time
