Welder/Fabricator - FurstStaffing

Welder-Fabricator Fantastic opportunity for a Welder/Fabricator to work at a local manufacturing company that is a leader in its field.  The ideal Welder/Fabricator candidate is able to construct/build orders directly off of blueprints on their own with little assistance.  We are looking for someone with strong problem-solving skills!  The concentration will be on Mig welding, but Tig experience would be a benefit.  This is a Furst-to-Hire position on 1st shift. Excellent benefits upon hire, including medical, dental and vision insurance, paid holidays and vacation, life insurance and retirement plan.  Bonus for good attendance! Hours: 5am or 6am to 2pm; could fluctuate to 6am to 4pm, Mon-Fri.Pay: $18-$24/hour, DOE and skill set Welder/Fabricator Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate manufacturing equipment
• Perform MIG, TIG welding
• Fabricate & build products based on welding blueprints
• Perform daily maintenance and cleaning of equipment
• Account for and dispose of scrap metal
• Complete welding, assembly, and fabricating
• Communicate with management and team

 Welder/Fabricator Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• Prior MIG, TIG & Fabrication experience required
• Ability to read Welding Blueprints 
• Assembly experience
• Knowledge of steel fabricating
• Good math and measuring skills, including ability to convert fractions to decimals
• Excellent communication skills
