SUMMARY
Starting Rate: $22.00 - $25.00/Hour Full Time

We are seeking skilled Welder and Fabricators to assemble and weld pre-formed chassis with precision in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to read drawings and fabricate based on drawing design, specifications, and procedures. We are looking for welders highly proficient in MIG welding along with the ability to fabricate and assemble large horizontal balers. We design and manufacture our machinery from the ground up and this position provides a great opportunity to strengthen your personal skills and knowledge with an ever-growing company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Perform efficient and quality MIG welding of various metal thicknesses.
- Fabricate large horizontal baler chassis and subcomponent as well as related machinery.
- Read blueprints & drawings.
- Use Torch and plasma cutter.
- Accurately read a tape measure and use precision measuring tools.
- Perform work with the help of various hand and power tools. (drills, grinders, sanders, etc.)
- Maintain and use equipment in a safe manner.
- Set up and adjust MIG welding and cutting equipment.
- Forklift and over-head crane operation a plus.
- Ability to meet production standards.
- Maintain good attendance record and be able to work overtime as required.
- Maintain good safety record.
- Maintain positive attitude.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experienced MIG welder.
- Requires limited supervision to perform tasks assigned.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to use tape measure, layout out, and set assemblies.
- Possess good communication skills & an ability to adapt to changing situations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or relative experience and/or training for job classification.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Depending on job classification, may require basic math and/or tape measure reading.
Depending on job classification, may require ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few variables in standardized situations.
