About the Job
Express Employment Professionals is looking for an entry level MIG Welder to work with our valued client in Niles, OH.
Pay: $16.00 -$18.00 per hour
Shift: Day M-F 7-3:30
Duties:
- Preparing door hardware, such as hinges, locks, strikes, and closers
- Preparing door lights, such as cutting openings, installing kits, and glazing
- Installing reinforcements
Other responsibilities of a welder include:
- Reading blueprints and drawings
- Taking measurements to plan layout and procedures
- Determining the appropriate welding equipment or method
- Setting up components for welding according to specifications
- Laying out, positioning, aligning, and fitting components together according to blueprints
- Bolting, clamping, and tack-welding parts to secure in position for final welding
