About the Job
Welder
The Welder will be able to weld one specific material, TIG welding required, titanium and aluminum welding experience preferred. Make certain fitments meet all design requests and tolerances are met in accordance with design paperwork provided. Confirming all components are properly prepared prior to weld.

Our Fabrication department in Pasco, WA is now looking for a Welder.
Key Tasks
+ Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
+ Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
+ Normally follows established procedures on routine work, requires instructions only on new assignments.
+ Completion of Permobil in-house weld training in aluminium OR titanium.
+ Weld aluminium and/or titanium frames and parts according to instructions and training.
+ Ability to consistently weld quality parts; understanding of how to identify contamination, uniformity, tie-in issues, etc.
+ Drive for growth; desire to learn to weld both materials (aluminium and titanium).
+ Minimal failure rate in weld quality and craftsmanship (retrain through in-house welding if not achieved).
+ Understanding of fabrication processes and product differences.
+ Ability to multi-task.
+ Maintain a clean and safe work area and awareness of surroundings.
+ Work as a team and maintain professionalism at all levels in the organization.
+ Follow direction, procedures, and instructions for all work assignments.
+ Ability to read and understand computer aided design (CAD) files and 1:1 blueprints.
+ Support all quality, safety, and environmental programs.
+ Safely and proficiently operate tools and equipment needed to fabricate, weld, and assemble parts.

Your Background
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent.
+ Currently enrolled or completion of prior weld certification course (preferred).
+ Typically requires a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience. Typically requires a general education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training
+ TIG welding required, titanium and aluminum welding experience preferred
+ 3-6 months Permobil floor experience after in-house weld training completion.
+ Team player.
+ Reliable.

+ Self-starting ability.
+ Ability to work with little to no supervision.
+ Time management.
+ Maintain regular and predictable attendance; report to work on time

Additional Information
+ Salary: Hourly rate of $24-28 per hour, paid bi-weekly.
+ Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 5:00am - 3:30pm with OT possibilities.
+ Vacation or PTO: During initial year of employment: Up to 80 hours of vacation, which will be prorated based upon start date. After initial year of employment, earn 136 vacation hours.
+ Sick Time: Per Washington State law, one hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked, with the ability to roll over up to 40 hours into the next year.
+ Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision benefit options beginning first day of employment.
+ Long Term Disability and Company Provided Life Insurance Policy for all employees
+ 401K eligibility on the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment. Permobil offers Safe Harbor matching, with immediate vesting.
