Welding/ Fabrication at Manpower

Our client is seeking experienced Welder/Fabricator to join their team. The ideal candidates will have a good work ethic, attention to detail and dedication which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Experienced Welder/Fabricator 
Location: Alexandria, MN
Pay range: Based on Experience 
Hours: 7:30am - 5pm
 

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding based on job requirements and material specifications
• Fabricate and assemble metal components according to blueprints, layouts, or schematics
• Operate and maintain welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
• Inspect and verify the quality of welds and finished products, making adjustments or repairs as needed
• Follow all safety protocols, wearing appropriate PPE and maintaining a clean work environment
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure timely project completion
• Troubleshoot welding issues and adjust techniques to ensure high-quality results
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any modifications made

• Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding or metal fabrication preferred
• Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques; experience with other welding methods is a plus
• Ability to interpret blueprints, layouts, and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment
