Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and oversee large-scale construction projects, with a focus on underground utilities.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including resources, timelines, and budgets.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project goals are met.
- Use HCSS Heavy Bid to estimate costs and Bluebeam for project documentation and collaboration.
- Monitor project progress, address any issues that arise, and ensure the project stays on schedule and within budget.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Communicate project status to stakeholders and provide regular progress reports.
- Resolve any problems that may occur during construction.
- Coordinate project activities and ensure all project phases are documented properly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in project management in the construction industry, specifically with underground utilities.
- Proficiency in HCSS Heavy Bid and Bluebeam.
- Strong knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proven leadership ability and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of safety and building codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Professional Project Management (PMP) certification is a plus.
