About the Job
Genesis10 is currently seeking a Windows Middleware Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:

- Interface with internal customers and external vendors for consultation at various points of the software development life cycle (SDLC); and execute production changes for integrated and regulatory releases with precision
Requirements:
- Able to troubleshoot complex .NET or Java-based application issues in a multi-tier development environment Builds, configures, installs and validates software
- Set up test environments
- Test environments change with strict time restrictions for every release and often several times during the life of a release cycle
- Research and resolve issues using acquired knowledge and skills or by liaising with internal client and/or external sources (internet, etc.), often under pressure and strict time frames
- Confer with internal and/or external departments to resolve issues
- Refer problems outside the scope of ability/responsibility to higher level Manager or related IT departments
- Analyze user issues to determine possible problem sources
- Source can include custom software issues, WAN/LAN issues, server/hardware issues, configuration issues, etc.
- May provide on-call/weekend support as needed
- Participates in systems or hardware related projects as assigned by the Environments Manager Ensures that corporate standards are adhered to in all aspects of software configuration/installation
- Create or update documentation
- Conducts or attends meetings
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
Desired skills:
- 5+ years of experience of Windows Middleware Engineering experience DEVOPS experience BMC Remedy, BMC BladeLogic Server Automation
- Understanding of Network infrastructure (HTTP/S, TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, Load-balancers, firewalls, proxies, B2B links)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong attention to detail
Pay Range: $55.06 - $63.06
