Workforce Health and Safety - Occupational Health Nurse (1.0 FTE, Days) The person hired into this position will be required to work at Roosevelt Commons and the hospital clinic. Provide essential occupational health and safety services to staff and volunteers to ensure a safe and healthy workplace. **Required Education and Experience** -Graduate of accredited school of nursing. -Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Public Health, or related field, or equivalent experience in a healthcare or clinical research setting. **Required Credentials** -Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington. -At time of hire: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) will be accepted in lieu of BLS for Healthcare Providers. As a condition of employment: Current BLS for Health Care Providers is to be maintained at all times by all nurses. Employees are responsible for any costs (including time away from work) associated with obtaining PALS or PEARS certification if it is not a requirement of the position. (ACLS will not be accepted as a substitute for the requirements listed above.). **Preferred** -Three (3) years nursing experience, with one (1) year in occupational health nursing. -Experience in injury prevention and/or hazard control, infection control and vaccine preventable diseases. -Experience in Case Management, OSHA reporting, or Worker's Compensation. -Master's degree in Occupational Health Nursing, MPH or related field. -Certified Occupational Health Nurse or Certified Occupational Health Nurse Specialist. **Compensation Range** $92,477.00 - $138,715.00 per year **Salary Information** This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year).
