Job Summary:
Within the US Wound Closure & Healing Platform, the Marketing Manager, Sutures will be responsible for working with the Director of Wound Closure Marketing in developing strategy and execution plans in the identified areas of optimization for our portfolio and the management of the Base Suture business. This individual will be part of a dynamic portfolio team with responsibility for driving alignment and execution of cross functional partners to deliver strategy, implement the tactical plan and achieve business objectives.
Key responsibilities include identifying commercial strategies to increase awareness and expansion of the base wound closure business with a focus on enhancing the digital delivery of core wound closure portfolio resources. This individual will also lead the portfolio optimization and life cycle management strategies for the platform, using analytics and market data with supply and forecasting to ensure the long term health of the portfolio.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- US Commercial lead for the Base Suture Business
- Lead base business portfolio financial planning, demand planning, pricing, portfolio efficiency efforts, and alternate channel exploration
- Develop and refine strategies and implement tactics to accelerate Wound Closure Portfolio growth
- Identify and complete Portfolio Rationalization and Optimization initiatives.
- Monitor and control budget to assess promotional effectiveness. Work productively with external agencies and cross functional groups within the organization.
- Collaborate and support field sales organization, and develop market understanding through compliant engagement with key customers and opinion leaders
- Deliver product sales and forecasts based on procedure strategies, marketing programs and corporate operational objectives in close collaboration with supply chain partners.
- Partner closely with Field Sales leadership and critical internal collaborators including Field Sales, Global Business Insights, Strategic Customer Group, Commercial Operations, Global Education Solutions, & all support functions (IT, Finance, HR) to develop and implement defined Business Plan.
- Ensure applicable company compliance with all relevant regional requirements, company regulations, policies and procedures.
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required
- An advanced degree is preferred
- Relevant business experience is required
- Marketing experience is preferred
- Sales experience is preferred
- Demonstrated analytical strength is required
- Wound Closure expertise preferred.
- Medical Device or healthcare industry knowledge is required
- Strategic thinking, the ability to collaborate and challenge the status quo is required
- Ability to build leadership relationships and influence in a highly matrixed organization is preferred
- Ability to effectively build customer relationships is preferred
- Demonstrated experience developing and applying customer insights is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to successfully build and execute a marketing plan is preferred
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $99,000 - $170,200
