X-Ray Technologist Per Diem at Orthopedic Affiliates

Orthopedic Affiliates is seeking skilled and reliable per-diem X-Ray Technologist to join our dynamic team. These positions will support our main office location in Concord, MA as well as a one of our satellite offices in Hudson, MA.
As an X-Ray Technologist in our orthopedic office, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures that assist our orthopedic providers in diagnosing and treating patients.
This position offers flexible scheduling on a per-diem basis. The candidates must be willing to work as needed to meet the demands of the orthopedic office. No nights, weekends, or holidays.
*Position Qualifications:*
* Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology program.
* Prior experience as a Radiological Technologist preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Thoroughly knowledgeable in anatomy, patient positioning, examination techniques, equipment protocols, radiation safety, radiation protection and basic patient care.
* Ability to communicate clearly in English with patients to explain procedures while making them as comfortable as possible.
* Ability to follow and comply with procedures, policies and regulations.
* Ability to work effectively and collaborate with medical staff, personnel, students, and patients.
* Ability to read, write and speak clearly in English.
*LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC.:*
* Registered by the ARRT or registry eligible. Must obtain within one year from date of hire.
* Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Public Health: Radiation Control Program.
* Must maintain license annually.
* BLS certification preferred.
