X-Ray Tech (Radiographer) Needed for Maryland’s Leading Provider of Urgent Care Services!

Full-Time X-ray Techs are eligible for a $2,500 sign on bonus with an 18 month commitment!!!

Job Summary

The Radiographer plays a key role in ensuring efficient patient flow while supporting the provider in delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Capturing high-quality x-ray images with accurate positioning and appropriate radiation exposure

• Creating CD copies of patient images

• Recording patient information in the EMR system

• Performing rapid lab tests

• Measuring and documenting vital signs

• Accurately entering lab results into the EMR

• Conducting EKGs

• Applying orthopedic splints

• Assisting the provider with basic medical procedures

• Preparing and collecting specimens for LabCorp

• Following established policies and procedures

• Participating in staff meetings as scheduled by management

• Completing tasks such as supply inventory during assigned shifts

Minimum Education and Professional Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent, required

• Completion of an approved R.T. program

• ARRT Certification and Maryland State Radiographer License, required

• At least one year of clinical experience in a physician’s office or hospital, preferred

• CPR Certification, required

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work shifts of 12+ hours

• Capability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, as needed

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to different locations

Schedule: Full-Time, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, 3 shifts per week with rotating weekends. All centers are open 7 days a week, including holidays.

Compensation:

·         $30-$36/hour
