Job Description
Youth Support Specialist - PMIC

Are you passionate about making a lasting difference in the lives of children and teens? At Children’s Square USA, we’re looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our growing team as a Youth Support Specialist in our PMIC facility. You’ll be working directly with children and teens who’ve experienced trauma, helping them build life-changing skills, providing emotional support, and guiding them on their journey toward healing and growth.

As a Youth Support Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in creating a safe and nurturing environment where youth can thrive. Your work will go beyond just a job—it will be a meaningful opportunity to inspire and empower young people, helping them overcome their past and build a brighter future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help children develop the tools they need to succeed by reinforcing positive, adaptive behaviors.
- Utilize proven behavior management and de-escalation techniques to ensure a safe space for all.
- Support children in identifying and correcting their behaviors with compassion and understanding.
- Build a strong, therapeutic relationship grounded in trust and respect.
- Follow medication management guidelines and ensure compliance.
- Be a role model and agent of change, showing youth that they have the power to transform their lives.
- Accurately document the progress and challenges of each child, providing crucial information for their development.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Must be 18 years or older (preferably 21).
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least 1 year of experience working with young people, preferably at-risk young people.
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
- A true passion for helping children and teens in a crisis.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass all background checks and health screenings.
