Position Overview:
STS Technical Services is seeking skilled A&P Mechanics in Indianapolis, Indiana
In this role, you will be responsible for performing intermediate and heavy maintenance tasks on aircraft with minimal supervision
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flight control and engine throttle rigging, with the ability to use FAA-approved data proficiently
This position also requires the ability to lead and guide less experienced mechanics to ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Flight Control & Engine Throttle Rigging: Perform precise rigging of flight controls and engine throttles, ensuring all adjustments meet high-quality standards.
Data Utilization: Proficiently use FAA-approved data, including IPC, M/M, OHM, and SRM, to guide maintenance tasks.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all work performed adheres to the highest quality standards.
Leadership: Direct and guide less experienced mechanics to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Additional Duties: Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of related experience and/or training in aircraft maintenance.
Licenses/Certifications: FAA A&P License required.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
The role requires regular sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and movement around the facility.
The work environment is a warehouse setting, and candidates should be able to adapt to this environment.
