About the Job
The Institute for Contemporary Art is seeking part-time A/V technicians to join our team.
This position requires a baseline knowledge in lighting, sound, projection, and stage management. Serving confidently as on-site point of contact for any event they are scheduled for, A/V technicians keep track of, setup, operate, and breakdown all necessary equipment. A/V technicians must maintain a level head when troubleshooting and solving any technical issues that may arise during an event.
This is a part-time (hourly) project-based position, with hours depending on project needs and timetables.

- Ability to work with equipment weighing up to 50lbs

Preferred Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience with lighting, sound, projections, or performance
- Experience with pre-performance, performance, and post-performance activities.
- Experience with or Interest in working in a creative environment and/or with contemporary art
