CAI is seeking a dedicated and experienced A/V Support Technician to provide troubleshooting and support of video conference room technologies. This position will be a contractroleonsite in Trenton, NJ.
What You’ll Do
Prepare, operate, support, and maintain audio/video IT equipment during recording sessions or live events
Collaborate with presenters, producers, directors, and other team members to achieve desired sound\video
Troubleshoot technical issues related to audio, video and IT equipment
Travel to alternative work office locations (Newark, Trenton, Cherry Hill regions) may be required based on the event calendar and scheduling
What You’ll Need
Required:
3 years’ experience with sound dynamics and acoustics
3 years’ audio\video production experience in various audio\video technologies and software
5 years’ hands-on Window OS Help Desk experience
3 years’ experience troubleshooting technical issues related to audio, video
E years’ experience documenting processes and associated materials and in providing knowledge transfer
5 years’ experience Troubleshoot technical issues related to PC Hardware
Strong understanding of sound dynamics and acoustics
Hands on, helpdesk experience within the Windows environment
Experience with virtual conferencing platforms such as Zoom, Teams, Skype, GoTo meetings, Webex and assisting with the hosting of meetings
Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot both A/V and PC related technical issues
Ability to work with senior management supporting events and cope with a fast-changing environment
The ability to work as a team or independently
The ability to prepare documentation, knowledge transfer, train staff, presenters, and technical staff etc.
The ability to document processes and associated materials and support knowledge transfer
Preferred:
Prior local government experience
Experience with Crestron, Extron, Polycom, Adobe and Camtasia
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor
