ABA Billing Specialist - Advanced Behavioral Therapy

We're excited to offer an excellent growth opportunity for a detail-oriented and organized ABA Billing Specialist to join our Billing Team. The ABA Billing Specialist will oversee all authorizations and support the billing process for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. Responsibilities:

• Authorizations: Oversee all authorization submissions, tracking, and BCBA reminders.
• Billing Documentation: Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient billing records, including service dates, and session details.
• Communication: Serve as a point of contact for patients, families, and insurance companies regarding billing inquiries, issues, and concerns.
• Collaboration: Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure accurate billing, adherence to therapy session documentation requirements, and resolving any billing-related issues that arise.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Medical Billing, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in either medical billing, authorization submissions, and/or intake process, preferably in ABA therapy or behavioral health services.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to details and accuracy in data entry.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000-$50,000
