AC058 - Part-Time Nanny - Lower Manhattan, NY - British American Household Staffing

Two wonderful dads in the Financial District of Lower Manhattan are seeking a part-time nanny for their darling 3-year-old daughter who currently speaks both English and French. The general schedule will be Monday through Friday from 2:30pm to 6:30pm with some flexibility for occasional date nights and weekends. The family likes to travel domestically and internationally and often spends long weekends in the country. The nanny is welcome to accompany the family should their schedule permit.

• Full- charge childcare including, meal prep, feeding, bathing and bedtime routine
• Child-related tiding up
• Pick up from school
• Schedule and take to any activities such as play-dates and dance class
• Support intellectual, emotional, and social development of the child through age-appropriate play and activities
• Provide guidance, structure, and set thoughtful boundaries
• Always prioritize the safety and well-being of the child
• Communicate regularly with parents about the child’s progress
• Follow any specific instructions or guidelines provided by the parents

• Possess a full command of the English language
• Active and engaging
• Warm, kind, and reliable career nanny
• Strong communication skills
• Works intuitively and takes initiative
• Well-rounded knowledge of childhood development and milestones
• Knowledge of how to work around milk/dairy allergy
• Consistent, dependable, and punctual
• Ability to be firm in a constructive, kind, and calm manner

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be comfortable driving child in the country or as needed
• Valid passport
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally preferred 
• Ability to speak French and International travel experience would be a huge plus but is not required
• Must be legal to work in the U.S.

The family is offering $35 per hour.
