REHAU Construction LLC, a leading international polymer manufacturer, is seeking an ambitious, experienced Academy Sales/Trainer for its Building Solutions Division located at our Head Office in Leesburg, VA.
Responsibilities
Specific job responsibilities for the Training Manager of REHAU Construction Academy include:
- Manage and develop the Academy curriculum for internal and external training
- Promote REHAU’s training program for radiant heating/cooling, plumbing, fire protection and pre-insulated pipe, geothermal, to contractors, distributors, mechanical engineers, and architects
- Present technical and sales information to both staff and installers (heating and plumbing contractors) as trainer
- Coordinate design and construction of product displays for use at training events
- Travel to training events for on-site coordination
- Track expenditures and coordinate funding in-house
- Track attendance, collect evaluations, and coordinate follow-up contact with attendees
- Coordinate hotel rooms, meeting rooms, product samples, and literature at each location (including packing and shipping items)
- Coordinate the availability of additional presenters for each training event

- Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelors degree from an accredited College/University in a relevant field
- Minimum of 5-years experience in a similar role
- Experience in public-speaking with a technical orientation
- Experience presenting as part of sales and/or technical training programs required
- Experience in creating adult-education training programs preferred
- Ability and desire to travel across North America up to 50% of the time required
- Experience in the North American construction industry with a background in Plumbing/Mechanical systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Team player who works well individually, as well as part of a team
