About the Job
Under the direction of the AccessMore Podcast & Streaming Audio Program Director, the AccessMore Production Manager, using skilled production techniques to create professional level video and audio for both external and internal use. The position works independently to conceptualize, and produce video and audio pieces for the AccessMore platform.
The Production Manager oversees production time capacity, time allocations, and editing assigments to ensure all podcasts are published in a timely manner while providing quality control direction to other Audio Producers. This role maintains the publishing and tracking measures for AccessMore. The Production Manager manages and coaches other members of the team including outside contractors.
Here's some of what you will be doing...
- As primarily a Video Producer (audio producing is secondary), complete full cycle of production projects to include recording content from creators in studio and on location, project planning, and assembling video and audio elements (voicing and/or working with voice talent).
- Produce professional, podcast-quality video and audio content. Complete daily video and audio production including, but not limited to conceptualizing, and assembling of video and audio pieces.
- Work closely with internal and external content developers incorporating feedback and copy points to create video and audio that effectively communicates and connects to target audiences. Ensure proactive and clear communication with internal team to create desired outcome.
- Manage other AccessMore producers and contractors. This includes managing the workflow assignments, monitoring production and quality levels and proactively anticipate future work flow.
- Monitor the progress of orders being produced by production team to ensure completion within expected deadlines. This includes helping move orders along past any hurdles or delays that may be outside of the producers’ sphere of influence.
- Manage various AccessMore used programs such as VCreative, OneDrive, and SharePoint for some video and audio file delivery, upload, and download.
- Work closely with the Content Coordinator and the Podcast & Streaming Audio Program Director to assist in creating the sound of the series.
- Responsible for publishing podcasts on the AccessMore system. This includes being able to manage the publishing process for accuracy and timeliness.
- Utilize Pro Tools recording/editing software for video and audio projects that include complex use of multiple tracks, audio plug-ins, compression, EQ, automation, and other professional features, techniques, and practices that include and that go beyond a voiceover and music track. Projects should raise the bar, and show consistency in meeting departmental standards.
- Utilize Adobe Audition for audio finalizing and metadata entry prior to upload.
- Maintain professional competency, knowledge, and skills necessary to effectively perform job duties by taking personal responsibility for professional development and training. Specifically, stay “current” and informed with video and audio trends.
- Maintain courteous, positive, and efficient interaction between programming, sales, traffic, and production departments as well as podcasters.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
Here's some experience and skills we are seeking...
- Minimum of 5 years of digital multi-track audio production experience, preferably within the broadcast media industry.
- Full cycle production experience to include concept origination and planning, copywriting, voicing, and production.
- Hands on experience using Pro Tools, vCreative, PPO, Adobe Audition, RSC Zetta and other software programs as required.
- Familiarity of the following is needed: Video Editing Software: Premier Pro, Final Cut or DaVinci Resolve. Motion Graphic Suite: After Effects or Apple Motion.
- Demonstrated ability to create and produce high quality video and audio content.
- Local and/or national voiceover experience helpful.

- Ability to multi-task and work within a fast-paced environment of competing priorities is essential.
