JOB SUMMARY
Account Coordinator will assist Account managers in their responsibilities as they apply to account management, new contract sales, customer relations, collection resolution, project management, retrofit/upgrade sales as well as any other items as needed
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to Sales Manager. Account Coordinators with significant experience may supervise field personnel.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
· Correspondence
· Maintain customer relationships
· Assist Account manager in all functions: sales, customer relations, project coordination, scheduling, installation
· Drawing review
· Basic Estimation
· Project coordination
· Safety Observations
· Additional duties as needed
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· High schools or equivalent
· A degree in Engineering or Construction Management or at least 5 years of HVAC experience/vocational training
· Must have basic PC experience in Windows environments, working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, Web-enabled applications, and database software
· One year or more of project management experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Technical school
· Trade school
· Bachelor’s degree
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS
· Computer skills: spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, Outlook, AutoCAD
· Knowledge of shop standards
· Code requirements
· Heat loads
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORTS
· Work involves moderate exposure to elements, such as hot/cold temperatures, dirt, dust, and/or loud noises.
· Work environment involves some exposure to construction, mechanical, and electrical-related hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
· Moderate physical effort. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 50 pounds and extensive standing and walking.
· Work requires local and occasional out-of-town travel to job sites and customer locations.
· Performance of the required duties will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and scaffolds and to negotiate work areas under construction.
